Rob | 6 comments One of my favorite authors. The Keep is an amazing horror novel. It jumped started 2 great, intertwined series: The Adversary Cycle and Repairman Jack. I just read this close to 30 book series last year, and Repairman Jack became my favorite fictional character.

Char I love F. Paul. I have stalled out in the R J series, though.
I also read his WWII book, Black Wind which I thought was pretty good. :)

Rob | 6 comments Black Wind is a powerful and beautiful novel. Wilson incoporated a large number of themes and characters from Black Wind into RJ's 12th book By The Sword.

You know, Rob..I have never even spoken with anyone who has heard of Black Wind, never mind read it! :)
Your thoughts on it echo my own.
I am a few books behind in the RJ series, I haven't read that one yet. :(

I have black wind, but have yet to read it.

Mark Turner Like Rob I read almost 30 of Wilson's books last year including Black Wind. I'd never heard of him till I was recommended him by two online friends. He's a very good writer and I've got him as a Facebook friend which is cool.

Char A lot of authors are like that, Mark. I find it to be very enjoyable.
Peter Straub is not really like that though. To be honest he is probably tired of my asking when Ghost Story will be available as an e-book. : )
