Jess (jesmy777) Our winner this month is The Diviners. Enjoy!!

Victoria (murflegirl) | 2 comments I read this a couple of months ago and enjoyed it quite a bit! Might even revisit it this month!

Liesje Leest (liesje_leest) | 51 comments Sounds like a thrilling read! I need to finish an other book first, but I will be joining in the discussion of this book later this month.

Christy (cmh85) I just finished the book I was reading so now I can finally join in on one of these! :)

H (wwwildernesss) | 2 comments I finished the book the other day and I surprisingly liked it. I thought it was rather creative, and Libba created a great and vivid world. It went on for a little too long, and I have to admit I didn't really care that much for some of the characters like Theta and Memphis and Mabel but it was mostly because (view spoiler) It did feel a lot like a prequel in some sense. A very long prequel lol.

And I know some people were surprised (view spoiler)

Jamie (iquitelikebooks) | 54 comments ooh I've been wanting to read the diviners for a while, if I can find a copy around I'll definitely participate :)

Christy (cmh85) I'm really liking it a lot so far. I love how atmospheric it is, whether it's the jazzy, fun parts or the creepy parts.

Jamie (iquitelikebooks) | 54 comments About halfway through now and I'm really enjoying it (I couldn't put down the 2nd and 3rd books of the Gemma Doyle trilogy either), but I'm wondering when we're going to get back to the main plot. There seems to be a lot of background story going on (which is interesting and great) but I don't feel like the main plot, with the Beast and the ~Diviners, is advancing very quickly. This is the first book in a series, right?

Jamie (iquitelikebooks) | 54 comments I also can't stand the way Bray writes "pos-i-tute-ly", it just irritates me and the way it's written pulls me out every time, lol.

Lisa (writelegends) | 19 comments OK y'all, I just CAN'T get through the first few pages of this book. I just finished another Libba Bray, so I know it's not strictly an author thing, but the writing just doesn't throw me INTO a story. I find it distracting. I have read 5 other books this month, with an attempt at going back to this one in between, and I get a couple of pages in, then go buy and read something else.

Anyone else having this issue?
