Empress (the_empress) There are three books in this series, the last book contains all three parts. Isn't it supposed to be separate not as a 4th book. I think it is misleading.

It is also not marked as a primary edition.

The series is absolutely correct by Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ standards.

Empress (the_empress) That is why I'm asking and saying it is confusing. I assumed that only books from the series should be listed, and that makes it neat and tidy,

Lets consider foundation with is 7 parts and some more. It is been published as single books and volumes of 2,3,4 and all parts. It has other books as well and it can be publuishe with a prequel and two more parts. So all of these should be in ONE list called foundation? Not separated by editions like that:
list a (vol 1, vol 2, vol3, vol4, vol5, vol6, vol7)
list b (vol1-2, vol3-4, vol5-6, vol7)
list c( vol1-4, vol5-7)
and this should be how exactly?
list main: vol1, vol1-2, vol2, vol2-3,vol1-3, vol3 .... etc? + full edition?

I just have never seen combining like this an want to understand so I can deal with complicated series better.

Just to mention the series change name with the new edition.
The acclaimed trilogy that comprises LILITH'S BROOD Acclaimed being the xenodenesis.

This compilation book contains all three "Xenogenesis" books by Octavia Butler: "Dawn", "Adulthood Rites", and "Imago

So i am just asking how is correct to deal with this situation, because my logic works completely differently then most people.

Thank you.
El

Thank you :)

Empress (the_empress) stand alone book PART 1 (marked as 1-2)
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29...
the foundation trilogy
http://www.goodreads.com/series/91529...

It should be:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29...

As in here:
here:http://www.goodreads.com/series/59386...

The foundation series have 7 books, the first three are the trilogy.

So every other book in the firs series:
http://www.goodreads.com/series/91529...
Is marked as part 1-2, and they are only 300 pages long. I've read the trilogy and it is more then a 1000. How is this happening and no misleading?

Random check with 0553451146 showing series 1-2
quote from describtion from aoutside source: ''Foundation marks the first of a series of tales''

It's possible I'm not understanding something, this is what happens when I am sleep deprived.

Good night to ya all :)
