TT2-Mini Non-Reading Games & Puzzles for Cupcakes - May - from LK

I've been doing random other ones on that site since you showed it to us. I'm attempting a 184 piece crazy one now X)

Probably not.

LK, I'll give it a go if you want, I normally like them. I'll be home in 20 minutes so can do it then if that's ok?
PUZZLE #23 - Three that are NOT Third. Can you find the three books that are NOT third in a series?
Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to [email protected] With Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are on, though I have most of you memorized! You can just list the book titles in your answer.

PUZZLE #24 - Doublets from "Ache" to "Pain"

Doublets were word-link puzzles first created by Lewis Carroll. Changing only one letter at a time, and using the clues along the side, go from "ache" to "pain"... or vice versa!

cereal plant (Avena sativa) cultivated in cool climates & used for animal feed & human consumption
 light strokes with the hand
animal's feet having claws and pads (pleural)

Glad I could help, Rebecca! LOL!

Oh I'm soooo glad you did this one :) Thank you, oh captain, my captain!

Kinda like the doublets and Three that aren't third already sent in! X)

Glad I could help, Rebecca! LOL!"
And yep, doublet has been done...
PUZZLE #25: Another slider puzzle, but with twelve pieces. A little harder than average, because the cover has so much black.
Please be sure to show that you worked the puzzle; do NOT just post the bookcover. Thank you.

LOL I sent in the doublets and the Not Thirds too :) I'm with you, though, on these sliders. They're definitely not my cup of tea.

I made some mini-cupcakes for a retirement party at work and still have some left over to eat the rest of this week.

I have a problem. I am addicted to peanut butter. X)

It took me all day to do this puzzle (I actually hate sliders but for some reason I keep doing them! LOL) but I finally completed it.

Jenny, you can't change spreadsheet. And we get only one cupcake for every puzzle, no matter how many times it's solved.
Since we already got those cupcakes, you are only solving it for fun :D

Yes, I thought Gone Girl was the toughest... but it was requested. I won't say by whom.

Yes, Jenny, ❶İձ❶ is correct. Only one cupcake per Team. But, here are some cookies for you:

Yes, all that black was hard. So, another love-hate relationship, huh?

30 seconds! LOMBO! Not very long, Stacie. Good thing you're killing the doublets.

Yes, Vi, you are pretty tenacious.

And you still beat ❶İձ❶! Impressive, Eni! See what practice does?

Yes, all that black..."
It certainly is a love-hate relationship. I think I'm trying to prove something to myself - how many ways can I frustrate myself. LOL
