Okay, any more questions? If not, I'm going to be AFK = Away From Keyboard.

Turtlecollector Dennis | 1164 comments I love love love cupcakes and I love puzzles. I can't eat many of them unless they are gluten free, so this is a great way to satisfy my cupcake and my puzzle cravings.

Although it does cut into my reading time when I solve the puzzles (hmmm, maybe I should rethink this).... Nope, I need a break sometimes anyway.

message 754: by Lisa Kay (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments Yes, they should be done as a break from reading. It should be fun. Right?

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments Alright, ladies and gent. I'm going to call it a night and see if I can find Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog to watch. If not, maybe another episode of Firefly.

I thought title words (and series words) that were used for letters had to be the first word in the title? So, wouldn't that exclude "Yours", since that's the second word in the title? Or does that rule only apply to category #5? OR-Or does that rule apply strictly to series titles?

EDIT #1: Okay, I see now that the book cover you linked is a book that starts with "Yours", but the title link is "Exclusively Yours", so I guess the picture is the right one for the "Letter Y", so disregard my question!

EDIT #2: Meant to say, HURRAH FOR CUPCAKES! And the fact that we completed (almost) all the puzzles (even if we end up not taking advantage of cupcakes)! And that I'm STILL hooked on doublets! (I found a site that generates them!! And you're timed on them! IT IS FUN! AND ADDICTIVE!! I HAVE A PROBLEM, LOL)

message 760: by Vi (new)

Vi | 1724 comments Teresa, is that so? What is the address of the site?

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Oh! I meant to share it. Let me go find it. I don't think I bookmarked it, egads. Hope it's still up in a hidden tab! *goes to find it*

should take you to a ladder game. I don't know how to find a general ladder games index so I just keep clicking that "previous (or next) word ladder" arrow that appears beneath the puzzle, or scroll further down and you'll see other links to various word ladders. There are a lot of games on that site!!

Firefly is also free right now, if you have Amazon Prime.

Yes. My apologies, my error. I pulled in the right coverlink, but then clicked on the wrong title link when I was looking at the series.

LOL! Glad you love the cupcakes and puzzles.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments You're welcome! May you all be sucked into the vortex that is Sporcle.com!! Word ladders, missing word puzzles, trivia type things...so many ways to lose time!

message 767: by Monica (new)

Monica (nutz4reading) Well B-O-B only has 7 cupcakes so at least we only have to read 48 books instead. If we decide to use the cupcakes.

I am like Zara, I confuse easily. It takes me a while to figure things out. I get so excited I read everything quickly and then forget what I read. I have been looking at it and I believe I understand it. Just need to see what the team is going to be reading and to see how we can use the cupcakes for one book.

Now I wish I had just done more puzzles. Even though it did cut into my reading time. Plus I didn't even try to access the games during work because it would most likely had been blocked. Almost everything is blocked at work. I just hope they don't every block GR or some of my other sites.

Well off to get some reading done.

At least you can access *those sites while at work. We're not allowed to go to ANY sites other than our library system's website during work hours :\

We are supposed to limit our personal internet time and yet some people shop all day while at work. It gets annoying when it isn't the same for everyone.

ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 226 comments Grrr, double standards at work really grinds my gears!

message 771: by Barb (new)

Barb Yeah ... as I said above, we're not supposed to be online at all during work hours, but those who have smart phones find ways to work around that. Those of us who are still muddling along with dumb phones can't do a blasted thing about it *sigh*

Do you mean The word puzzles as well?

I thought I had submitted the picture puzzles to that link. If I click on the link I can see them.

It happens. Not a problem for us; we just want to make sure you get your cupcakes. Captain Cupcake might not check here.
