I've enjoyed all of them so far. I really liked the word ladder too!

Lisa Kay still needs to track
All the things you get for a snack.
But she'll get there after the R-a-T's over.
Then some of you will be rolling in clover.
PUZZLE #11 - Slider puzzle

Doublets were word-link puzzles first created by Lewis Carroll. Changing only one letter at a time, and using the clues along the side, go from "stress" to "rested"... or vice versa!
- Cover (a surface or area) with untidily scattered things. (3rd person singular present)
- Short, slender, sharp-pointed metal pins
- Broken rock fragments at the base of crags, mountain cliffs, volcanoes or valley shoulders
- Dresses worn primarily by Hindu women; consists of several yards of light material that is draped around the body.
- Sergeants
- Flat-bottomed boats
- Intrude or interrupt rudely or awkwardly (past participle)
- Sudden loud noise, as of an explosion
- To pass over or through an area or region in or as if in exploration
- Speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way.
- Pay someone for the use of (something, typically property, land, or a car or maybe a DVD).

actually i like all of them except this one. but might have to do with english being my second language.. that and i was never good with word puzzle thingies lol =x
Well, Eni, I'm impressed you speak more than one language. I wish I did. I remember taking an algebra class with someone who was French, and she was always converting the problem back to her native language.

Oh, since you asked earlier and I forgot to respond: My favorites are word searches, ladders (or whatever the technical name is...looks like doublets, maybe) and crosswords, but I also really liked that jigsaw puzzle a lot. Only thing i really don't like is sliders because I get too annoyed to bother with them.
Oh, and I loved the book cover scramble!

yeah sometimes it's easier to translate to my native language. And i've had a little bit of practice >_< been an online gamer for almost 10years now O_O (wow that is long when u put it like that) and before that there was cartoon network =p oh plus school
sliders get on my nerves as well, but somehow i manage to like them =p

I think a lot of people like them, so that's cool. Fun for all!

Yep, between Flat-bottomed boats and sergeants, there's something missing, I think.

Let me double check my guesses and see where I am confused. *checks*
Yep, that's what I meant, hehe. I confused myself!

Haha, sorry about that! I think I know the word, too. I just don't know the clue!

My apologies. Let me fix it and re-post. (Went to bed early last night.)

No worries about the puzzle. It happens. And I guessed right too. *Happy Dance*
I really like Doublets. *hint hint*

Okay, they you can be my 'test bunny' on the next one. LOL!

I'm loving the doublets, too! I'm hoping to see another book cover tile scramble *hinthint*. I tried to find them online to do my own just because but I wasn't sure what to look for. I did a search for variations on 'book cover scramble' and didn't get anything. I did find one person's blog, where she did a weekly tile scramble but I didn't like it. They looked like mosaics and I couldn't make heads or tails of the picture. I liked the one that you posted here.

I thought I was going nuts with that thing. I'm so glad that someone else had an issue.

Sorry, Barbara! I'll get someone to proof-read the next one, before I post. Promise.

And word searches.
And jigsaw puzzles.
And crosswords.
*snicker* But wait, I want LK to read, since she's on MY team, so no pressure, really! Whenever you have time, LOL!
LOL! I did more sleeping than reading, but I have a few lined up.
Let me see if my test bunny is awake to proof the doublet.
