Alicia | 4 comments I use it, you aren't guaranteed to get what you ask for. Some books are only available in certain countries, some pubs will only give out to bloggers etc. I've found that asking for a book that's already out or from a small pub house, you're more likely to get it. And I'm only a heavy reviewer, no other creds.

Alicia | 4 comments Oh, another thing: flesh out your profile as much as you can. This will give you a better shot at more books.:)

Indeed. There are many readers (from conversations in Amazon) that never buy an Indie book when they find the author doesn't have a convincing profile. Worse: some authors don't have a profile page, even.
