Nick Carraway tells the story of the impressive Jay Gatsby as he got to know him when he visited his cousin Daisy during the Jazzy 20's in wealthy Long Island.
A friend told me that when he finished the book he thought "what a waste of my time that was." I concur. Although the book does make for a good story (or movie), it didn't add anything profound to me. I'm not saying it's a bad book, I was just under the wrong impression when I started reading.

A great love story, the writer way of expressing feelings made me read the book. The movie is great too, but sure reading the book is more enjoyable if you know what I mean.

سيرة ذاتية للكاتبة انتقلت فيها بين ايطاليا و الهند و اندونيسيا بحثاً عن التوازن في حياتها التي تظن أنها بائسة بعد طلاقها .. كتاب رائع للغاية و ذكرت فيه الكاتبة بعض عادات الشعوب الإيطالية و الهندية و الإندونيسية .. استمتعت بقراءته كثيراً و جمال وصفها جعلتني بحق و كأنني أتجول في تلك الدول ..

This is a story of how someone can gradually go from being a normal, smart and very healthy person to a suicidal mentally unstable patient in an asylum. It's not a very happy flowers and butterflies kind of novel but it's definitely worth reading. I personally hate sad and depressing novels but this is just so good because It has one of my favorite genres which is psychological.

جدا رائع يضع فيه الكاتب أكثر المواقف الخارقة للطبيعة كمشاهدات أشباح وغيرها من مختلف البلدان , أعجبني أسلوبه في الكتابة - وأيضا موضووع الكتاب أكثر ماجعلني أقرأه خصوصا وأنا مهتم بهذه الأمرو بدرجة كبيرة

الكاتب: د.غازي القصيبي رحمه الله.

أنتهيت منه في جلسة واحدة. تعرفت على مرض ألزهايمر وحزنت على المصابين به -بطبيعة الحال- لكن الجزء الأخير كان الأفضل.
تطرق الكاتب في مواضيع عديدة ولم يتعمق في تفاصيلها، أظنه كان يريد أن يبدي رأيه بشأنها بشكل عام.

أنصح بقراءة الكتاب.
