Upload one. You will learn so much in the process! My 1st (which I had slaved over, proofing etc.) reformatted and had still a couple of typos so I took it down and re-worked it and re-uploaded. I finally worked out how to do it. The next book was waiting in the wings but I took time to proof etc.. and the third was an easier process. I would just do it, use book #1 to go through the exercise and modify it if you are not happy with how it looks. Best of luck with cutting through the clutter out there - that, I think, requires a miracle for so many of us!
Cheers,
Wendy

My personal opinion is to go ahead. I was happy to give Amazon the 90 days exclusive in turn for the 5 free days of promotion. I "sold" hundreds of books on those days and think it creates a bit of a "buzz". My first goal was to get people to read a book by a new writer and hopefully recommend it to friends. People are willing to take a chance with freebies. Good Luck! Cinda CM ( A Place in the World).

Thanks Cinda. Did you use the five days all at once or split them up?

I'm encouraged. I have also finished one only and am working on the next one. Thank you.
I wanted to find out as a first time Author is it advisable to use KDP Select or not? Some article mentioned it's better if you have several books lined up so I had delayed launching the first book in my series to work on the second and the third. Is it so or should I go ahead and publish each book as it comes?
