Books can be fiction or nonfiction. All books should be read between June 21 and September 21.

1. June 21-Summer solstice, longest day of the year. Read a book that is over 500 pages long or a book with a summery or beachy theme.

2. June is rose month. Read a book that has a rose on the cover, in the title, is the name of a character in the book, or has a rose colored cover.

3. July 4-Independence day. Read a book about our founding fathers, that takes place during an American war, or has red, white, or blue on the cover.

4. July 23-World Youth Day. Read a young adult or children's book.

5. August is Romance awareness month. Read a romance book.

6. August 4 is sisters day. Read a book where a character has a sister.

7. August 9 is book lover's day. Read any book of your choosing.

8. August 18 is bad poetry day. Read a book of poetry (and hopefully it is not bad!)

9. September is Hispanic Heritage month. Read a book that has a hispanic setting or hispanic author.

10. September 13 is friday the 13th. Read a creepy or dark book.
