David Haskell (daviddeanehaskell) | 33 comments Hello all. I thought I'd start this topic in order for us to help each other with some post-publishing tips & tricks we may have learned along the way. Here's one to get the thread started...

tip In the “author central section, make sure to go beyond your profile and check all the available stuff you can do there. For example, under “books there is a section for you to include editorial reviews, a product description, a “from the author section, and several more.

Any other tips or tricks? I'd love to hear what you guys have come up with, I'm sure we can collectively pool our resources and make sure nobody is missing anything vital (I didn't realize that book section was there until earlier today!).

Hope this topic is useful! BTW, if readers here would be so kind as to like my author page, every little bit helps and I could use the support! Thanks in advance, here's the link

Jenna Brooks (goodreadscomjenna_brooks) Hi, David. Done. I had to go into Amazon and locate your page, though, because the link didn't work. Maybe it's my browser, but you might want to check it out.

My suggestions to everyone: Connect your page to Twitter, as well as to your blog. And post more than one picture.

Not to brag, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on my Amazon page. If anyone wants to take a look:

While I'm here, can anyone tell me if there's a discussion about how to get Facebook likes? I just put my page up last night, and I want to get 100+ so I can post an event.

That one should work. Thanks again!!

Rinelle Grey (rinellegrey) Advertising on facebook is really effective for getting page likes. I had a $50 voucher, and gained about 200 likes for it. Their targeting is really good, and it's pretty easy to use. Otherwise, just join a lot of 'like for like' threads.
