Usually Small's books are priced pretty high (compared to others), so that is definitely a steal!

I wrote and asked an author once why that happened with her books and she said because in the paperback version it included sneak peeks of her other books ... also some books on kindle have actual page numbers and others estimated pages ... I did not check this book in particular but it is just something else to help keep the hope alive ;) that it still the original story

Bride of the Baja by Jocelyn Wilde, aka Jane Toombs is $0.99 today. The reviews make it sound like an old skool BR, but you never know about the re-releases. Sometimes they are pc'd up. Not sure if that's the case here. Anyhoo - here's the link.

You're welcome. I haven't read it so can't say it's a BR, but Robards definitely wrote them and this one was written during that era.

If I like this, I'll try some her other titles. If this is not a BR, I'll look for her titles that BRs.

This may not be a BR. One of the people who wrote comments about this title here in GR said that although they expected the h to be raped by a bunch of pirates, it did not happen. However, this book has enough 4-5 star rating to satisfy me.

Island Flame& Sea Fire are two of her most famous BRs

ETA: I would highly recommend Forbidden Love which I would call a BR.
