Hi! We'll be doing a buddy for Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier! It's starting to become really popular, so I though we'd give it a shot. It starts next Saturday, on the 14th, and lasts on week.

It's a pretty short book (318 pages), so we'll read over the course of 6 days at about 50 pages per day:

Sept. 13: page 1-50
Sept. 14: page 50-100
Sept. 15: page 100-150
Sept. 16: page 150-200
Sept. 17: page 200-255
Sept. 18: page 250-318

lol I am well aware that you already read it, in fact I decided to get it (and as a result, do this buddy-read) because you recommended it to me:)you should def discuss it with us!

On page 56. It's okay so far, I think Charlotte is a complete snob, but Lesley seems like a good friend. I REALLY wanna get to the more time-travelly parts, and meet Gideon.

Charlotte IS obnoxious. I abhor her. Period.

on page 108. I can't wait to meet these mysterious "Guardian" people. I'm glad Gwen's mom believed her and didn't act like she was lying, I really thought she was gonna be all like "Oh, you just want attention." and stuff. I kinda don't like how slow it's going, though. I want some action, or drama, or something.

I wasn't able to pick up a copy to read this but I love that you decided to do this read with the schedule system! Hopefully I can read the next book with you! I don't think we have read one together yet.

I'm on page 180. It's okay... I'm just sick of all these half-answered questions, and I wish we could FINALLY get to the interesting time travel-y parts. So far nothing overly cool has happened.

I'm probably not gonna be finished today. I'm having alot of trouble getting through this book:/

So, um, I read the book and the sequel over the summer. I'm dying inside for the next one to come out!!! I'd like to join in. Not really sure how this works. What exactly is "buddy reading"? And seeing as I'm over a week late, is there any motivation to do this again with the second book?
