We are halfway done folks! Give yourself a nice pat on the back!

But it's now entering the danger zone, at least for those of us on east coast of the USA so grab those snacks and get nice and cozy... just not too cozy.

Just finished Roost

Favorite moment/scene that you've read today? spoiler tags please!
The funny things the main character's kids said and did.

Why did you choose your current book?
Recommended on my library's website. Didn't realize until I'd started it that it is set in my hometown :)

I was pretty busy actually so I didn't have too much time to read but I was able to finish The Shamer's Signet. I'm also pretty close to finishing A Very Long Engagement.

I just love re-reading Shamer's Chronicles. So many good memories :)

Why did you choose your current book?
Right now I'm reading A Very Long Engagement and The Strangled Queen. I chose the first one because I love how Sébastien Japrisot writes and I already started this book before Read-a-thon so I just want to finish it!
I chose to read The Strangled Queen because I really liked the first book in the series AND it's a quick read :)

It's actually almost 5 a.m. where I live so I'm going to sleep for a bit. Good luck, guys! :)

There was an essay about plagiarism and my favorite part is about how we really have to know the reasons of why people borrow other people's words. Knowing the reason first will help us decide to say whether it's downright stealing or just getting inspiration and getting a little bit careless about acknowledgments.

I chose it because my dad recommended it. He says Malcolm Gladwell's a really good writer, and I agree.
