This month's challenge is a little different! Find a book which will take you to an exotic location - it doesn't matter what genre - the location is what's important!

Links to help in your choices:

Exotic Location
Mysteries set in Exotic Locations
Foreign Lands
Books to Read While Traveling
Set in Foreign Countries

So settle back, relax and choose a book to take you to a place you can only dream of....

Lia (hydeseek) | 19 comments The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver

This book has been slowly moving up my TBR, so time to move on it. I heard Barbara Kingsolver on a podcast from the BBC World Bookclub. She was fascinating. I would recommend anyone interested in this book to head over and check it out.

Margaret_M thanks for introducing me to this book. I've been reading lots of books about the pilgrimage to Santiago, with all that such an undertaking involves, and this seems like a great one to read.

Amber (ukaunz) I'm currently reading And the Mountains Echoed which moves between Afghanistan and Paris, so that would have been perfect! But for my October challenge I'll have to try to fit in A Long Way Home which I think is set mostly in India. I've also got My Family and Other Animals to read for the Spring Challenge, and that's set in Greece.

Yes, Margaret_M, I know exactly what you mean. I'm interested in reading it because I know that it will be more than just a travel guide and I have to disagree with you...I think you do have an exotic mind as it takes that to be able to read Coelho or at least an open mind.
