Reading a book is fun, but reading a book with someone makes it SO much more fun! So that is why we started a Buddy Reads thread :D

Here is the Fall Buddy Read discussion page. Leave a post with the genres you like to read or which books you have that you want to read soon, and then those who want to read the same book(s) or who enjoy the same genres can ask to buddy with you.

Here's an example of how to post:

Hi! I enjoy reading lots of different genres, but my favorite is historical fiction. I am planning on reading A Passion Most Pure by Julie Lessman next month, but I am willing to read another book as well.

Once you know who you are buddying with, please leave a comment HERE with the names of the people buddying up (you can buddy up with more than one person) and the book(s) you will be reading.

Note:
Threads from the previous month(s) will remain in this folder until people are through reading their book(s). Once it is obvious that a discussion thread is finished, it will be moved to the archives.

Would anyone like to buddy read it with me? :-)

message 3: by Naomi (new)

Naomi Rawlings | 31 comments I just read it last week, so if there's a discussion, I'll hop in on that with you, but you might want to find someone else to actually read alongside you. It should be an interesting book to talk about.

I have Forsaken Dreams and would love to buddy on it, but it'll depend on when you want to start it. I'm going to be busy with a few review books for probably this whole week. So just let me know.

If I can finished Twice Promised by then I'd love to :) Or if I don't, we could always just leave our thoughts about the book under spoilers with only the chapter number showing (that way we can give our opinions of the book without the other being at the same point). What do you think?

message 12: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (baseballblondie) | 1166 comments sure. that will work.

Megan-I am flexible about when I read Forsaken Dreams. Just let me know. I need to read it sometime in the next month or so, in order to read and review the second book in the series before year end. Would love to buddy up with you in a few weeks on it!
