Of Mice and Men
question
whats so intresting bout the book

Why did George kill lennie?George killed Lennie because at that point he didnt Know where to go.Lennie was a fugitive. He killed Curley's Wife and apparently accused of harassing a young lady.It was the right thing for George to kill Lennie.George Knew Lennie wasnt able to handle all the crazyness.Lennie can't handle the fact that the police are looking for him.If Lennie was ever caught he would freak out.He didn't Know how to control himself. For example when Curley's wife was screaming uncontrollably ,he didnt know what to do .So he then freaked out and killed her accidently trying to calm her down.George really cared about lennie thats why he took his life away.George didn't lennie to suffere by the hands of the people or even get killed by the people.

Why did you start a discussion thread with a major plot point as the title?
I really had kind of, some what mean reply, but i think maybe you actually believe the things you are saying. While they are correct, i would love discuss further how they are completely superficial and how you should learn how to put spoiler alerts in your topics..
Just because this book is a classic and written a long time ago, does not mean every person on this earth knows the story!!
I agree, please remove this spoiler. I have just read this wonderful book and had no idea of its storyline nor ending. If you leave spoilers up you just selfishly kill off reading pleasure for thousands, especially in a short book where as in Steinbecks case, every sentence counts. Please kill it.
>>>> I want to retract my comment above - this is not a spoiler as any plot is not included in the title, I had just read another question in the discussion area for this book and got confused with that - there is no spoiler in this discussion question, my mistake - I say sorry to Neona rather than just delete my comment - sorry

pat withers said its not a spoiler.well u shouldve read the book first then came on here. That is why its called a Discussion,we discuss about the book.Next time think about reading it first then make a comment.Im not removing it its my discussion.
This is not a spoiler - its like having a thread called "Luke is Darth Vader's son - discuss", or "Scrooge reassesses his life after having a series of absinthe driven fever dreams -would you do the same". Relax - stop shrieking and andwer the question :-)

Those are all spoilers. You DO understand what we mean by a spoiler, right? It's something that gives away an essential plot point of the story.
