Frank Vaisey | 2 comments Hey all! I'm not very original as I'm fvaisey almost everywhere, although that does make it easy to find me. Friend me if you'd like. Here or there.

I have so many books that I'd like to get into Bookcrossing.com Got to print me some labels and start sending them out. That's one way to start cleaning out my cellar. I just can't throw books away!

message 16: by Nancy (new)

Nancy Brady (minesayn) | 160 comments and bookcrossing is approaching ten million books registered. van you believe that?

LOL! I started Bookcrossing to get rid of books and then I ended up with MORE books. I bought books to share, to send into the "wild" and of course I joined in on bookboxes which added to my "To Be Read" pile. All I can say is that I'd better live for a long time in order to read what's on my shelves.

message 18: by Nancy (new)

Nancy Brady (minesayn) | 160 comments You and me both, Deb. I have decided that books multiply on my shelves, and I recently cataloged them so I know what is there (free from giveaways, from other BCers, books originally mine) so I can rrad them in some semblance of order and get them bookcrossed out to others through rabcks or "wild" releases. I may have to live until 100 and not bring in any more books through the library or book stores (like that is really going to happen).

message 19: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Me too. We're not necessarily hoarding books, but we sure do accumulate them! I've joined a challenge (in another group) simply to read books off my bookshelves, and even with that motivation, I still pick up books from the library and from thrift stores.

Cindy (BKind2Books) (bkind2books) | 15 comments I think of books as my window to immortality. If I don't die until I read all my books, then I will live forever!
There was a quote in a book I read once that said the author's books were multiplying like feral cats - an apt comparison if ever I've heard one!
