Annika has been added to your thread! Happy playing!

I can be your partner, especially since we read very similar books. You do read a couple more a week than I do, but I'll..."
Yay!

Please set up a thread for Debbie (Doc,) Michelle and I. Thanks!"
Thanks for letting me join in!

no problem. I know Debbie's played before, hav you Michelle?

Paris usually creates the threads for folks, so as it is her game, I will defer the creation of your thread to her. Adding folks is a fairly easy thing, so I was able to add in Annika to the other game fairly quickly.

Thanks Paris

I hate this new GR format!

Me, too, Debbie, me too!

they don't care what we think. i'm so looking for a good substitute

Sure! You just have to post how many books you'd be able to read in a week or so, that way members can match up with you a little better. Once you post that, you just have to wait and see if someone is looking for a game that reads about the same as you do.
Trust me, it's no fun to be in an unevenly matched game!

If so, I read about 2-4 books a week. But then that does vary depending what happens during the week.

Yup, you did great!
I read a bit more than that, between 4-6 in a week, so I wouldn't be a good partner for you, but hopefully someone is looking for a Monopoly partner and will get back to you soon!

Eh, it fluctuates...all it takes is someone posting saying they're interested in a game!

Then just let me know like how many books we want to do max a week. I don't want to, like, have a really good week and leave you sending snipers to take me out or anything. Ha ha.

Haha I don't hold grudges. There are weeks when I read heaps, and then days when I don't. So you choose that too :) I'll have a little reading time a day, I hope. And if I don't, then I'll catch up :D But quick question, can I count books that I started before this challenge?

Yay! I'm excited!

Maddison to answer your question, you can count books started after the challenge, unless it's something you've had in progress for a while and you re-read the part you've already read.
Happy Playing!

I have her added! Enjoy!

This sounds fun though, so let me know.

I'm game. (pun intended)
What do we need to do to get started?

Paris will set up a thread for you guys when she gets a chance and you'll be all set! Just watch this thread, she'll pop in here and let you know when she has it up.

It will look the same as the game you're currently playing in, just with you and Shan.

Thanks so much for the offer, Maddison!! I read a book a day, at least, so I've pretty much decided to abstain from the game, because it's not fair to my "opponents" and not so fun for me to win all the time! *hugs* I really appreciate you offering though!

I'm a stay at home mom that homeschools my son. When he has independent work time, I sit down with my Kindle and read, then as a family, we've scheduled an hour's worth of reading time before bed. My husband and I switch off on reading to our son, but inevitably, I'll wind up reading after everyone has gone to bed.

*shrugs* It was more like we didn't have a choice, especially since I went in for Parent Teacher Conferences in October of 2014 and found out from my son that he'd been choked on the playground because he was (and still is) developmentally delayed. School and Superintendent didn't want to do anything about it, so we withdrew him. We homeschool on a tight budget, and wind up getting a lot of things at tax time.
For me, the lucky thing is that my son is still alive and he's thriving here at home.
