I think when the OP has left the group, the thread should be moved to Query Abandoned.

The easy way to tell if they're still in the group is when you mouseover their name, it shows how many comments they have made. If it doesn't specify how many comments, that means they are no longer in the group.

Serendi Not sure I agree. I don't like having too many groups at one time, so I've sometimes gone in and out of groups, depending on what's going on.

But if a person decides they're interested again in their particular thread, it can always be moved back from Query Abandoned to active. It's not like the Query Abandoned threads are hidden or disappeared, or anything.

Serendi True. And going through bumped up threads, I see you flagged threads where the OP hasn't been on the thread for several years; in other words, it's one of several criteria.

Have to say, as I go through, I often wish I could move threads whose last post is "This thread should be moved." (I'm back to April going backward, plus wherever you've bumped up going forward.)

The "rules" are--the OP (Original Poster) has to have not replied for 2 years before their thread goes to Abandoned. Although if I notice that someone has dropped the group, I WILL go ahead and move the thread down to Abandoned (unless we've had an answer that everyone says is definitely the answer--in which case, I'll move it down to Possibly Solved
