Maybe a spot where authors can provide read for review copies? Not spamming but genuine group members perhaps? Have a few copies to do this with and only just realised this group didn't have a spot for it. But if it's something the group wants to avoid, it would obviously be inappropriate!

how bout we make more general threads so people don't have to search as much.

the general threads are more at the top but we can always add more general threads to the top if they aren't "general" enough! :)

That is a good idea! I am always searching the internet for the endings of books before I read the next in a series.

I suggest a group read. Have everyone suggest a book and you put it in a poll and then close it and post the winner for everyone to read. Most groups are doing this
