Adam Shields (adamrshields) | 42 comments This is a very good and accessible introduction to the Redemptive Movement Hermeneutic. I think this is probably my go to book now for people that want to investigate women in ministry as well. Not because he talks about women in ministry much, but because this is a subject that has less emotional baggage than Women in ministry but has a lot of overlapping cultural, scriptural and theological implications.

I also was reading it right before the birth of my first child, so it was relevant as a parenting book as well. The epilogue (about 30 pages) about what Webb and his wife do for behavior management is very good. That is also well worth reading on its own and if it were a separate pamphlet I would love to use it to discuss parenting in a small group context.
