Excited to read and discuss.
January 2014's (that feels so strange to type) book is Passing, by Nella Larson. I'm excited this is the first book we're reading because, of the books on the list, this is one of the few I'd never heard of. Not surprising, since Larson wrote only two books and faded from the Harlem Renaissance pretty quickly. Discovering forgotten writers FTW!
