Hey everyone! I'm Ronyell, your lovely moderator of this group and I like to welcome everyone to this group! A little facts about myself: I love to read, create websites, listen to music and I have recently graduated from grad school (still debating about whether or not I should go get my P.H.d)!

Please feel free to introduce yourselves and tell everyone about yourselves, what you like and what you love about surreal books!

Jessica Hi everybody! This should be a fun group. I enjoy surreal fiction because there are many facets of the genre that I truly love to read: the dark humor, the absurd, the whimsical, the far out. Books that make you go "WOW!"

I love reading many different genres, do a little writing on occasion, and recently welcomed a new baby to the family.

Karma Gurung (climbingbeyondcrystalmountain) Life fucking sucks man! So, I like to dig on surreal stuff. Besides, who is to say what is real and what is surreal; everything is perceptual. I love to see beyond what my eyes can show and imagine things beyond dimentions.

I am Karma Gurung form Nepal, and I love day dreaming : D

Hey Karma!!! Nice to have you here! I pretty much feel the same way about surreal books!

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 1 comments Hi, I'm Danielle. I love books that are outside of my typical reality and creative. I particularly love weird supernatural fiction. I'd be interested to see what books other members recommend. I saw a thread for Neil Gaiman and I am definitely a fan.

Lisa (lisadannatt) Hi I'm Lisa. I'm a psychiatrist from South Africa. I think that the world and those around us are better mirrored in surreal works than other fiction.

Hello Darcywillow! Welcome to the group! :D

Douglas (pegamooseg) | 7 comments Howdy! I sought out this group, because I am an author who writes similar to what I enjoy reading -- unusual fiction. I favor stories with a unique style and voice. I appreciate authors who look at life differently and aren't afraid to write something that deviates from the norm.

Checkered Scissors is my first novel. I recommend it to anyone who likes absurd, humorous, off-beat fiction. I am currently working on a collection of short stories called Pickled Bananas.

LOL! Hey Richard! Glad you found this group! Yeah, there definitely needed to be a book club for the Surreal and Weird books!
