Micah hasnâ€™t mastered the approachable guy look at all. Since getting injured out in the field his cocky and arrogant attitude has decreased some. Now heâ€™s a little more humble and shies away from people that he knew at an earlier time in his life. Some days he can see a glimmer of the person he used to be, but mostly he just tries getting by. Though heâ€™s gotten stronger and more reliable on his left leg he still feels as if heâ€™s fallen under the disabled category. Micah has always been the caring type and has looked after his younger brothers. Admittedly when it comes to his long term boyfriend, Pyotr, he becomes a total pushover and heâ€™s overly protective and caring. Still heâ€™s insecure due to their small age gap and the worry that the man will one day leave him due to the fact he isnâ€™t the same person he used to be. This has caused him to slip further into his teaching and spend less and less time with the man he loves at the off chance he is at the academy. Though heâ€™ll take a day off itâ€™s just not the same and, His stress over the loss of his leg, and his own attitude is putting a rift between them. As for when heâ€™s teaching heâ€™s one of the more laid back teachers. If you fail he wonâ€™t put in the effort to help unless the student wants it. On occasion he is asked for extra after school practice heâ€™ll put in more hours then he needs to. Often times when he shows up he presents his most optimistic and lively self which makes it a bit easier for the students to participate.

Micah had pretty simple upbringings. Raised as an orphan at the academy heâ€™s never really questioned who his parents were. Of course that was until he was placed with two younger brothers that he was told were his. This led to a few questions of his own, but they were easily ignored by the adults around him. Growing up his only real purpose in life was to take care of his siblings and train as a guardian. During his teen years he was nothing more than a finely tuned fighting machine. Being labelled as average by his teachers would often call to attention his short temper. Luckily he took care of that little personality flaw through his multiple hours of training. When he wasnâ€™t getting sleep he was at the gym. The core classes such as math and literature were often the ones where he caught a quick nap. There was almost a small sense of relief in graduating.

In his first few years after leaving the academy he was a bit lost. The freedom wasnâ€™t as much as heâ€™d been expecting and he returned to the academy for a bit. Thatâ€™s when he realized that his younger brothers friend was no longer a boy. At the time it felt wrong to look at Pyotr in that way. Hell, heâ€™d practically been part of the family, and that wasnâ€™t how you were supposed to feel for a younger sibling. It wouldâ€™ve all blown over if it wasnâ€™t for the fact that the boy soon got into a relationship, and it certainly wasnâ€™t with a girl. Maybe it wouldâ€™ve been completely fine if it was a girl. He wouldnâ€™t have gone on such a jealous streak, and he certainly would have left the academy more if it wasnâ€™t for the fact he wanted to make sure the twoâ€™s relationship progressed no further than it was already going. Any time he saw them together heâ€™d find a way to keep them apart, or get Pyoter all to himself. For Micah, though, it seemed the younger boy was oblivious and he was forced not to say anything by his own conscience. Somehow it all turned around for him though when it was revealed that the novice had similar feelings towards him and thatâ€™s when their relationship started seven years ago.

Strangely enough it was after Pyoter graduated that he was assigned his first Moroi family. Though they werenâ€™t royalty or highly established he still took the job very seriously. Despite the lack of the title on the family they endured many Storgoi attacks simply due to the fact of what they were. Already he had many Molnija Marks on his neck, but the numbers slowly went up with each kill. It was after he grew so confident in his ability to take them on that he was caught off guard. There was only enough time to save the family before he was wounded majorly. Thankfully his partner showed up just in time for him to not die. That night resulted in the loss of his lower right leg. After he was well enough to walk he kind of disappeared from the academy, leaving a simple not to Pyoter to tell him heâ€™d be back soon enough. From there he went on a little binge. He couldnâ€™t stay away for long though, and he doesnâ€™t talk about that month he was away; ever. Instead he pretends heâ€™s okay by putting a smile on his face. When he was offered a job at the academy he felt a strong sense of relief. His life wasnâ€™t over due to this minor injury, he still had usefulness- even if it wasnâ€™t something he ever wanted.
