I am a father of two and recently retired due to disability. I have lots of time on my hands now which lets me catch up on my reading. My reading interests are diverse and I tend to bounce around a lot. Currently, I am reading Wishsong of Shannara for another reading group, and I am looking forward to reading the Stephen King book. It is one that I have been meaning to get to.

welcome Mike! I tend to bounce around myself in my reading category. I am currently reading Shadow Man by Cody McFadyen. Shadow Man It all depends on the mood I am in. I generally will read most anything but do not care for romance (the only exception being Nicholas Sparks books) , westerns, historical, or any of the self help kinds of books. I like mystery/ suspense/ thriller, legal thrillers, paranormal, psychological thrillers, horror, true crime and some YA books. My to be read list is about 200 books lol and I read when I can but with kids and work my time is limited. Anyways, nice to meet you!

Hi Mike, and welcome to the group. I'm pretty eclectic in my choices of books as well.

No romance for me, thanks. Err.. no reading romance. The only non-fiction that I enjoy are history related, especially WWII, including bibliographies and memoirs.

I hate romance novels. Ick and double ick. Always have, always will. My passion is crime fiction, the sort generally off the beaten path.
