I go through my town library website. But also bother kindle and iBooks have lots of great books to download for free. Many of them are classics or public domain books but also some others.

Camille (camillesbookishadventures) There's also Project Gutenberg for books in the public domain.

Godan, I use Mobilism if I'm hunting for a specific book that I really really want to read. Or Project Gutenberg for older books in the public domain, like Camille said.

If I want to browse, definitely go for your library website. I don't know what it's like in other countries, but libraries in the UK often have an ebook service where you can download them for a set period, which is great.

I renamed this thread to include more discussion of ebooks.

Polly Clarke | 56 comments I also enjoy my library ebooks. Free and instantly downloadable, yes please! I also sign up to bookbub which deliver a newsletter to my email everyday which tells me of the latest offers on the internet and some are free. A good way to get to know new authors and for indie authors to get their work known.
