Astrid does have a superpower!
I know it's not a big one, I mean seeing someone's importance is a pretty lame ability, but why didn't Michael Grant not mention it in any of the other books?

Astrid is a genius, that's why she knows other capabilities & importance of each of other characters. It has nothing to do with a superpower. She's always been a genius!

That is true, but she still has a superpower. she has too! I mean, diana could feel she had 2 stripes.

She has the ability to see how important someone is through a shooting star I think. Cuz she said Sams glow was the brightest she had ever seen, meaning he was really important!

Oh well, it's been a long time since I read it. But the author created her character thinking of her more as normal human rather than having superpowers.

I watch a video or something awhile when Fear came out, and he confessed that he didn't want Astrid to have powers anymore, so in his words he said her power "evaporated". So for now her power was her being a smarty-pants.

Wait... what is Astrid's superpower? I really don't get it.

No, Diana can read the level of peoples powers' when she takes their hand. Astrid, when she takes somebody's hand she sees what she describes as a shooting star. The brighter it is, the more significant their life will be. I wish this power had been mentioned in later books...
