Finish Line 2015

By all means, if you want to extend your goal, go right ahead! But for those who want to say, "Hey, I hit my goal for the year. Now it's time to go knit that sweater I've been putting off," the Finish Line folder is ready for them. Others like to put their lists in the Finish Line folder as soon as they're done, but continue to add to it. Just because you reached the Finish Line doesn't mean you can't go run another quarter of a mile :)

1. Read 90 books for the first time. (They don't have to be published in 2015.) Now at 126.
2. Re-read 10 books. They can be any books that I have read in previous years. Stopped counting around 15.
3. Write reviews for 45 books. Stopped counting around 50.
4. Read 3 biographies or autobiographies. 3 of 3
5. Read 3 mystery novels 4 of 3
6. Read 30,000 pages. At 28.9k.

Is there a 2016 Reading Challenge? I've been looking for the widget so that I can set the number I want to read next year?

Hi, Mekerei.
Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ usually posts the widget on January 1 (Pacific time), I believe. There may have been a year when it didn't get up until the 2nd or 3rd, but I think -- in general -- it's on the site and ready on the 1st.

Thanks Tiffany, I thought that I had used the widget in the last throws of the year - must have been wrong.

Is there a way I can find my list for 2015? I didn't get a chance to finish listing the books I read for 2015?
Hi, Vicki. It looks like it's already in the "Finish Line" folder: /topic/show/...
You can still add to it.

We're starting to see the end of the year already (*gasp*), and I know a lot of you are nearly finished (if not already there) with your reading goal for the year (*double gasp*), so I've created the Finish Line folder for 2015.
If you so desire, whenever you feel ready, you can move your discussion thread in to the "Finish Line 2015" folder. To move your list, click on the small "edit" next to your thread's name. In the folder drop-down box, select the Finish Line 2015 folder, then hit save. You can still add on to your thread once it's been moved.
If you're not sure how to move your thread, or don't want to screw up, or just don't feel like doing it, no problem. I'll go through and move the rest after the new year. (And if your challenge isn't for the calendar year and your goal doesn't end until sometime in 2016, don't worry: I leave those right where they are.)
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or send me a private message.
