2. Yes (both for pleasure and information)
3. Books (including textbooks, exam study guides, booklets, novellas, and short stories), magazines, newspapers, internet news sites (and some social media), blogs and other websites (like wattpad and tor.com), online encyclopedias and dictionaries, graphic novels/comics (haven't read manga yet but plan to), webcomics, ebooks, audiobooks, plays (haven't read much poetry or any epics lately but am open to recommendations), and journals
4. (Excluding comics, novellas, and short stories) Red Queen It's about a teen girl living in a dystopian society bifurcated into two main classes: the Silvers (the high class) and the Reds (the low class). She, a Red (a special one at that, of course), tries to upturn the current oppressive societal construct from within in hopes of rebuilding it anew, but encounters some snags.
Not much at all.
Picked this book based on the book's description.
5. Finding Our Way: Leadership for an Uncertain Time. It offered advice about how leaders should deal with the the uncertainty of the future, how they should equip themselves to prepare for it (i.e. mentally, emotionally, etc.) what their employees need from them and can offer them, how they should treat the employees and ready them for uncertainty and the inevitable stress associated with it, and so on.
Hmm, it was okay, I guess.
My Capstone professor.
6. So far, the Harry Potter series. (I read mostly standalones, or I lose interest in many series.)
7. If by collection you mean a specific category of books, then no.
Yes, I do, but family members do gift some to me.
Both online and in bookstores.
8. Yes
9. Yes. I like it alot, very convenient and portable.
10. Mainly, I use the book's description, if it's clear enough. I also use reviews. And recommendations from family members, teachers, those I find in other books, or those generated from sites and apps based on books I've read and liked. I use both online and print reviews, but the latter to a lesser degree. I'm drawn by cover art but try not to let that be the deciding factor. Try.
11. I can't really speak for all ya or even a large portion of it. I just read what I want to and avoid what I don't.
12. lots of fantasy (not too dark) and adventure, little to no romance but more emphasis on other relationships, strong female characters, diverse/multicultural characters--the MC(s) included (basically, The Hobbit-ish)
Happy to help ^_^

2. I read for both pleasure and information all the time.
3. Books, articles
4. Out Now: Queer We Go Again. It's an anthology of LGBTQIA+ YA short stories. I gave it 3 stars because I hated some stories but really liked others. I selected it because it is a sequel of sorts to All Out: No Longer Secret Stories of Queer Teens throughout the Ages, which I gave 3.5 stars. I'm sad the second one wasn't better because it was more diverse.
5. I don't remember, which says something about how much I liked it.
6 . The Astreiant series
7. I don't really know how to answer that.
8. Online, yes
9. I prefer reading ebooks to
hardbacks, but I don't have an ereader. I just read books on my phone.
10. I read reviews, see books on lists, see books on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, or my sister recommends then.
11. No opinion
12. I only get *one* perfect book?

Well, I have the age For being here, I'm from México, Jalisco, I am a billingual person, but sometimes my english sucks lol, that's the reason for being here in this group.

3. Books, Ebooks, internet and graphic novels.
4. The last one was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. It was about Cath, a girl who Is a fan of Simon Snow (wich Is like Harry Potter lol). It was nice, but it wins my heart <3. I Select it by BookTube, in the channel of Clau Reads Books.

6. I have heard 'bout riverdale and stranger things.

1) Age - 16, Location - India
2) My native tongue is Hindi, so I started reading to improve my english. But now it's mostly for pleasure. I enjoy most books we are assigned by school to read, so I'm not sure that counts as information or pleasure.
3) I read books, ebooks, newspaper, sometimes magazines. Never read manga.
4) The Darkest Minds It was a YA Dystopian, where some kids emerge from a deadly disease with superpowers. The society shuns them, and government makes prison for such kids. Ruby, MC, escapes her camp. The book is about how she then meets similar kids who are on run too, in search for a haven.
I was disappointed. Ruby was whinny and the plot was senseless.
I picked it up because I love 'Found-Family' trope. And superpowers are always cool(except in this case).
5) Story of My Life (Helen Keller) It's autobiography of Helen Keller.
I loved it. I was the most inspiring book I've ever read.
It was in school curriculum.
6) Many are my favorite (Six of Crows duology, Licanius Trilogy etc) but Harry Potter Series is the most popular, one that everyone loves.
7) I don't most of the books I read. The only physically owned copies are gifts by friends. I mostly borrow them from friends, libraries.
8) Both. But I frequent school library more.
9) I mostly read ebooks. (on smartphone.) I like digital books, they are cheaper and easy to carry.
10) I hear about books from every
scoure. Whether I read it or not depends on online ratings, reviews and my friends opinion. (only teacher if the book in question is an informative book.)
11) Definition of 'too dark' varies from person to person. And books (mostly) clearly mention trigger warnings and such, so I don't think readers safely understand what they are about to read.
12) 3-4 'Main' Realistic Characters + 1 Complex Plot + 20% Romance + 10% Witty Banter + 70% Other Stuff + 1-2 Shocking Plot Twist = Perfect Book.
