Can't wait for books of 2016
Two series that I love have new books hopefully next year
Peace Talks by Jim Butcher
Night Shift: A Novel of Midnight, Texas by Charlaine Harris

The The Queen of the Tearling series has such polarised reviews that I'm not sure if it is for me. Are there any books you would compare it to, to give me an idea of what it is like?
Amulet, Vol. 1: The Stonekeeper and A Darker Shade of Magic. It is very slow and I thought it was okay, but the sequel The Invasion of the Tearling was one of the best books I've read this year.
And Untitled and of course A Gathering Of Shadows. I keep thinking it is called A Revolutionary Order Of Something.

Thanks, I do like Schwab. Maybe once the last series book is released I'll give the first one a go

Cute series! I can get the first one from my library on Overdrive so I may just give it a go :)

And that's most certainly not all the books coming out next year that I want to read!

If it is not... Also The Flame Never Dies. (COVER IS PRETTY. AND THE ENDING OF The Stars Never Rise)

without cover ~ Untitled (Leveler 02 by Julia Durango)
Unknown date release ~ The Missing (The Lost 02 by Sarah Beth Durst) & Head On (Lock In 02 by John Scalzi)

It seems everyone reads them, so I figure they must be pretty enjoyable... and any series that can get that many books! wow...
I think I've loaded up my reading time over the next few months, but I should try and get to that first one

Does it count if I've already read it? I loved it SO much so I can't wait until I can get the beautiful hardcover in my hands

My e-library has book 1 but not book 2! At least there will be a lot of goodness waiting for me whenever I get to it. :)
Oh so annoying when that happens Kazen. I have a similar problem with the Amelia Peabody series. My library starts from around book 10

I simply love this series. Have read up to book 35, not sure of the number but up to the book New York to Dallas and enjoyed the whole progression of the characters throughout this series. I was supposed to be reading the entire series again this year but have managed only a few, so hopefully will get to it soon and get myself updated till the latest before the next one comes in! I think you will enjoy it Karen! It's a fun series and the main character is someone I quite like! :)

I started this one a couple of months ago without even realising it was a trilogy. I thought it was a duology! LOL! However, it is on my temporary shelved shelf, hope to get to it soon! Quite an interesting story. :)

Hahahaha.. I hope so too! Of course, I have just finished the first book. My aim is to beat George RR Martin in his game by reading one book every four years so that I can fit perfectly to his schedule! ;) :P

Skandia YESSSSSSSSSS!!! If you get an arc or something the friendly thing to do would be to share lol. But seriously I adore this series.

LOL, Kathleen :) I wish I could have an arc or something but most likely I have to wait until publication date with you :)

I'm putting off reading the 3rd book actually but March still sounds really far. Better get busy with other books.

That works for me as I'm yet to get to book 2!
I didn't realise it was more than a trilogy. How many books are going to be in the series, do you know?

Well... I think you should try it, at least. Book one is not the best of the bunch, and Mercy doesn't appear as strong as she turns out to be. It has some hints of a love triangle, but is not as sappy as you can't handle it. And the werewolf world is AMAZING.
Of course, I read it before I did Kate... which helped... the beast lord's ruling is a bit hard to compete.
I prefer the spinnoff myself... maybe because is based on the Marrock's pack (the ruler of the werewolves) so, the events on that one impact the whole world building.

Is the spin off Alpha & Omega?"
Yep. You can read up to book #2 without spoiling Mercy.

I read the books after the second one came out because that was when I heard about them. I swore I would wait too, however I have a love hate relationship with books and cliffhangers. I love reading them and then get mad when I come to the cliffhanger.

same here... I think I might have some of that series in one of the stacks of books in the house
Sorry I can't join your eagerness Ora as I haven't read her books, but I'm sure it's exciting ;)
