The site is not up-to-date, as it is missing the full name of our current vice president: Joseph Robinette Biden. There are quite a few authors with Robinette in their name, actually.

Agard is also a surprisingly common author name. Surprising to me, at least.

Any use of a middle name that is not on the referenced list MUST include a link to demonstrate that it is the middle name.

yes, if that's the name listed on GR - we go by that. And I'm pretty sure that she is always listed by George Sand.

for authors, whatever is listed as the name on GR is what counts.

that works

Does an editor work for this task?
Murder at the Manor: Country House Mysteries
Martin Edwards
I just realized that the book I want to read for this task is a collection of stories, so there's an editor and several authors.
If not, no problem, as I can fit the book in another task

Sorry, editors don't count as authors. Please see the Rules of the Challenge:
"Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreward, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks."

I was wondering if I could use the name William (as in William R. King, Pierce's VP) for Bill Nye.
I know that the name listed on GR would be Bill Nye, but in his bio on his GR page it says William Sanford "Bill" Nye, so I was wondering if that was acceptable.
Thanks!

February 15 is Presidents' Day - but let's not forget about the Vice Presidents.
Read a book written by an author whose first, middle, or last name is the same as the first, middle, or last name of a U.S. Vice-President. Names must match EXACTLY.
Books may be fiction or non-fiction.
Ex. George Orwell, Margaret George, Clinton Rossiter, Hillary Rodham Clinton (all from George Clinton)
Here's a link to a list of Presidents and Vice Presidents:
REQUIRED: Include in your post the name of the Vice President.
