73/155, but it's been years since I read some of them. Unfortunately I definitely don't have a photographic memory. A good time for some re-reads.

It surprised me how much I've forgotten from some of the books I read so long ago, Greg. I mean, I guess it shouldn't be surprising! But it still is

I know what you mean MK. I have to "refresh" re-read books every 10 years or so. Once I've read them 3 times, I remember them well - that seems to be the magic number for my infamously bad memory. :)

65 for me. This is a different list than most I have seen. Some good ideas for my to-read list.

I have either read or physically own 75 on the list. I also reread. Rebecca and Wuthering Heights are personal favorites.

15 for me. Loads of books on that list I have never heard of. I still consider myself well-read, there are hundreds of books not on this list, especially if you include non-english literature.

There's a lot of books there that I have been wanting to read for a long time now but haven't got around to do it yet. oh well

Looks like I've read 11 of these books in the past 11 months (since I last took the quiz). Making progress!

53/155. I read mostly classics which helps on a list like this.

Only 29 for me. There's lots on the list I want to read, but equally quite a lot that I know I'll never try!

I'm now at 29/155, I've added 7 since last year.

I'm currently at 55/155. So I've added 8 since last year.

Only 33. It seems a rather bizarre list and I hadn't even heard of a lot of them. Still, some of them are sitting in the bookcase waiting to be read.

Only 16! Counting War & Peace, which I'm currently reading. Ah, well... :)

What a great list - I have 34 but after this year it should look much better.

38 for me--better than I've done on some of the other lists. Several that I just read this year, so I think yes! Then I see so many more that I want to read ... It really is a never-ending goal, isn't it!

I've read 52, but there are quite a few that I hope to read someday. And like everyone else there were several that I have never heard of, 16 that I counted.

60/155 "Avid Reader." Seems fair. I was glad to see some of my favorite under-discussed books on here. I also appreciated the number of books from outside US/UK, which was larger than these lists typically include.

Still 33 this year. Must try harder.

I have a long way to go too - 35!!!

If being "well read" is measured on page number then I think my 2 novels have a good chance as I've read over 2000 pages :)

Interesting list, there were a couple of authors, especially the non-Western ones who I might not have come across otherwise.

There weren't that many on the list that were on my tbr. If I counted the ones on my tbr, I'd still have less than 65. But a few sounded interesting, most I'd never heard of.

I understand -- many I hadn't heard of either.

Who makes up these lists? I only scored 22. A lot of authors I have never heard of. My number is low because my favorite authors are not on the list, H.G Wells, no Sherlock Holmes or Jules Verne.

25 for me. Even though I was an English major in college, these sort of lists are always pretty hit or miss.

I enjoy looking over various lists, but I give no credence to their objectiveness. I have always been puzzled by how a list can neglect so many well renowned authors by not listing a single book, while allowing other authors two or more books. So am I well read? Some lists say no, some lists say yes, while others lists, just shrug and say, bless his heart he’s trying.
