Synopsis:
Alex Bowen is a college student in Oregon. She kills a robber in a convenience store robbery then isn't sure later why she did it. In her anger she breaks her mirror only to discover a secret room behind it. Through the room, Alex finds herself not outside her apartment building in Oregon but on an island, followed by one pursuer after another. She meets Ian who claims he wants to help her but when morning comes, he is gone and his replacement is not the most charming. Alex and Ian's replacement, James, make their way back to Oregon to search for answers. Alex and James learn Alex's life has been erased from existence, from her apartment to her friends to her father. Though looking under every rock, they find pieces of evidence that lead Alex to discovering she had been kidnapped as a child and part of an experiment, never having left the island. She also learns dark secrets about her parents. Meanwhile, Ian has also been working on finding information on the island so he can go back and rescue Alex. Together they bring the mastermind company down.
