Melaslithos | 1645 comments December and the season of snuggling by the fire with a book and a hot beverage is coming! What are your plans for this month?

For me, I am looking forward to reading:
Nakamura Reality by Alex Austin Advent Children by Anton Troia The Ten Thousand Things by Maria Dermoût Cocaine Blues (Phryne Fisher, #1) by Kerry Greenwood Love Is For Tomorrow Reunion Paris Spy Thriller by Michael Karner Love Is For Tomorrow by Michael Karner

I am looking forward to a busy month of December work-wise, so will probably have to take it slowly reading-wise.

Thanks for starting the topic, Melas.

I intend to finish True Calling (True Calling #1) by Siobhan Davis . Not sure what will come next. Probably something horror but definitely from my Netgalley list.

I plan to throw in a paperpack or two as well, though.

Kandice I plan on finishing Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and Wolves of the Calla. Then I need to at least start Song of Susannah.

My list should look something like:

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss for book club, out loud and we'll watch the cartoon together.
Nine and a Half Weeks A Memoir of a Love Affair by Elizabeth McNeill with the older ladies who run the gift shop at work.
Watchmen by Alan Moore which I just want to read again.

Anything else will be by the seat of my pants.

Sadly in December I only managed to read three books: one from the author, the second a paperback and the third from Netgalley.

They were :

True Calling (True Calling #1) by Siobhan Davis True Calling
The Humans by Matt Haig The Humans
The Realms of the Dead Crossfades and Bleedovers by William Todd Rose The Realms of the Dead: Crossfades and Bleedovers

I have been reading Probably Monsters for what feels like forever... Reading Pdfs on a Kindle is no fun.

I had honestly thought I would finish the year with a bang but no such luck...

How was your month?

Melaslithos | 1645 comments December started really well, with lots of reading done, then I got caught into the end of year craziness and haven't been able to read anything for the last three weeks.

Here is what I read this month:
Nakamura Reality by Alex Austin Love Is For Tomorrow Reunion Paris Spy Thriller by Michael Karner Love Is For Tomorrow by Michael Karner Advent Children by Anton Troia
