Prerana Patil (preranaupatil) | 43 comments This is where I keep track of the books I would like to read in 2016!

Below is the list of all challenges I am going to try and finish.
Books can overlap between different challenges but not in the same challenge. If the premise of the topic for the challenge is more or less the same then the book cannot be repeated. e.g. "book you can finish in a day" in both pop sugar challenges cannot be the same. also book recommended by a family member and a friend/person you just met cannot be the same.

The idea is to read as many books as possible without restricting myself and experience the sheer joy of reading!

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!

Prerana Patil (preranaupatil) | 43 comments FROM FICTION TO REALITY
Timeline: before 31st December 2016

**Read a fiction book then read a non-fiction book about any part of that fictional work, or vice versa.**

books chosen:

Shantaram (nonfiction) and Breathless in Bombay (fiction) - both take place in Mumbai (formerly Bombay)

Modern Romance (nonfiction) and Match Me If You Can (fiction) -
the first is about dating in this technological age while the second is about a matchmaking agency

The Catcher in the Rye (fiction) and The Promise of a Pencil: How an Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change (nonfiction) the first book is a classic about the experiences of a teenager after he is expelled from school and the non-fiction book is based a modern account of countless kids who are not able to receive formal education. The times in which both the books are set also separate but connect the two books in a unique way.
