Leora, I think Sam wants us to use only the words he listed. I seem to remember someone else asking for a different word and he asked them to please stick with the ones he mentioned.

But now I'm curious - which book did you want to use? :)

Yes, just the words stipulated, please.

Leora | 209 comments Ok, thanks.

El-I found a book on my tbr shelf called 'What's a Ghoul To Do', it seems to be a kinda funny mystery type of book, I am 1/3 of the way through the 'Devils' by Dostoyevski and was hoping to switch to something lighter but I need to finish is anyway cause it's on the 1001 list.

Angela | 884 comments I asked this question under Rosanne's Task, but it has been a couple of days and she has not answered. Since I am a bank teller, can I read a book about customer service because this is one of the major duties I perform all day long. Thanks!!

A question about 10.7, the hero challenge. Will you accept Where Men Win Glory by Jon Krakauer (the book about Pat Tillman). I definitely consider him an American Hero (although maybe not necessarily my personal hero.)

Emily | 130 comments Would Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea count for the 1492 task? I'm not sure if we have to be above water for this one!

Jennifer | 98 comments Would I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell work for the place part of Cait's Task (the person place thing task) since they are using Hell as a location?

message 912: by Night (new)

Night | 57 comments I have already read The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #2) and plan to continue with The Titan's Curse (#3).

Would these count as three-word-title and two-word-title in Cindy's Task?

Or..., could I use them in Task 20-7 Learn Your ABC? So I'll just have to read one more book starting with letter R or U.

The Sea of Monsters counts as a four word title for Cindy's task.
The Titan's Curse counts as a three word title for Cindy's task, but you could certainly use them for the Learn your ABC

Matthew | 89 comments For the Time Travel task is it OK if I read a book about the actual possibilities of time travel instead of a novel? For example Imagining the Tenth Dimension A New Way of Thinking About Time and Space? I need to find a place for this book!

Jennifer | 98 comments Would Visions of Sugar Plums work for the senses part of the mid point task, since vision is sight?

I'll accept Visions of Sugar Plums, since Stephanie Plum uses sight in her job and the GR description mentions blackouts all over Trenton.

Nicole | 116 comments Hey Cynthia,

Quick question, would People of the Book work for 15.6 - the art history? The book is about all the people the contributed to the art and different marks on the book and their stories - might be a little stretch, but I'm not going to finish one of my multi-tasks, so I'm looking for another spot. :)

Thanks!
