Lucia | 1 comments I read that book one year ago and totally loved it! SO interesting and, unfortunately, cruel; it shows the truth! I think as many people will read it the best it will be because we all need to know what happens in some places, and learn! Plus Malala is definitely an example of feminist! What she wants is equality, and a good life for everyone!

NightBird (rebelert) | 1 comments I LOVED this book, I read it when it first came out, what, 2 or 3 years ago? And I was absolutely amazed! I hadn't really thought much about feminism but this really set me on a roll and now I'm afraid my friends think I'm crazy :) but, if I'm fighting for freedom of equality then it's definitely more than worth being crazy for you know what I mean?

Summer Duncan | 1 comments This is one of my favorite books. I think every school age child should read it.

message 5: by Alex (new)

Alex Azevedo | 2 comments I really love this book :D It is great and the story isn't told to make Malala a victim but empowering her! I guess making a victim out of her wouldn't be possible because she is a powerful woman!

I also enjoyed there wasn't unnecessary drama for making the story more tragic. The writing was clear as water and it was really moving to read the change the Swat Valley undertook.

It broke my heart and gave me hope at the same time.
