Jim Liston (jimsgotweb) | 1 comments The following is a listing of a few websites that will list your free or discounted eBook. If you’re using Select, coordinate with your free days, giving them at least a week in advance notice. If you’re not on Select, you’ll have to wait until your book is free. Most of these offer their services free, some for a small charge.

Thanks for posting this, Jim. I'm sure some of our authors will find it valuable - myself included!

Vanessa Couchman | 23 comments Thanks for this very helpful list, Jim.

I can add one to it:

There's also - but they are ultra choosy and it can work out expensive to get on there.

Laura Bradbury (laurabradbury) | 7 comments Has anyone here had any experience with the Fussy Librarian? I like her site and would love to hear if anyone has any first hand experience doing promo over there. Merci!

Laura

K.S.R. Burns | 54 comments Am doing Fussy Librarian this Friday. It's my first time with them---I like her site, too, Laura. They have been very easy and professional to work with.
(I'm also running ads in two other newsletters at the same time, so it will be hard to tell how successful any one of them is. Yes, I know, I'm not being very scientific!)

Yes, I'm doing a Fussy Librarian this Friday. I've included a Book Gorilla Promo on that day too. I'll try to report back :)

K.S.R. Burns | 54 comments My report on The Fussy Librarian promo: They were very easy to work with and I have no complaints with their service but the sales were not as high as I'd like. I.e., only 54, whereas I usually sell at least a hundred in these promos; in December it was nearly 200. (Note: On the same day I was also advertising on eReaderCafe--no way to tell how many sales were attributable to each). But then I knew that these two had less of a reach than some of the other promo sites. And 54 is better than the number I usually sell!

Karen, thanks for the report. My promo on the same day with Fussy Librarian and Book Gorilla produced sales of 54 units too. What a coincidence. That number is much better than my usual daily sales as well. Oh well, maybe most of these readers buy my sequel!

K.S.R. Burns | 54 comments I guess 54 was the order of the day......!

Thanks Jim, very useful. I’ve also used

not on your list, they did a nice job cost $5.00.

Helena Fairfax (helenafairfax) | 7 comments Thanks for the list, Jim. That's really useful. I've also used all these sites on the Author Marketing Book Submission tool

It's easy to use, and they're all in one place
