February 2016-The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
I own this book too but I haven't read it either! So excited!
Oh we can try to read this at the same time. lol, I know it'll be last minute for me. I am horrible sometimes at getting distracted like I did last month.
I'm usually pretty good about it if I'm not stressing. We should totally try to read it together!
Yes! That will be a great time to start it!

Started the audiobook of this today. At first I wasn't sure about the narrator but she's growing on me. I'm on disc 2 and so far not much has happened but it seems like its going to be good. Cia has just left to go to the testing.
I am excited to start this book during the read-a-thon next weekend. It seems like a short book and one that I should finish in no time.
Yeah I should be able to finish it quick too. So excited!
Yeah, so right now I am reading Cold Spell by Jackson Pearce. I like it so far. It's a re-telling of the Snow Queen. I've been really big into fairy tell re-tellings recently. I really want to get my hands on fathomless and sisters red by Jackson Pearce but I have not been able to find them. *sad face*

I have gotten into them again. The books Jackson Pearce has done are the ones I know I definitely want to get my hands on.
is a Snow Queen Retelling,
is a Hansel and Gretel Retelling,
is a Little Mermaid Retelling, and
is a retelling of Rose Red and Snow White. The last two are the ones I still need to get my hands on that I haven't been able to find. I also recently got
that is supposed to be a retelling of Sleeping Beauty. I want to find some retellings of Beauty and the Beast since well I love that story.

Thank you. I will be looking into these. Please recommend any and all fairy tale retellings. lol

I love retellings... I'm tempted to buy all of Alex Finn's collections.
I have seen them I just have not gotten any of them. I really love Cold Spell it's part of a series I think but it seems like you can read them separately. If that is not the case I don't think I'm really going to care because two of them are kind of hard to find right now.

I have read those. I need to get to Winter. I begged my husband for it for Christmas and still have not read it. That was the case with a lot of my books. I should go did those books out and start reading those.

I started it today! I am about a hundred pages in. Leela have you started yet? How far are you if you have? What do you think so far? It seems to have a bit of a feel with the Giver at the beginning. I am not complaining about that but it's what it kind of feels like to me without everything being pretty much black and white. If that makes sense.
I just woke up so I haven't started! But I'll be starting it right now!
Let me know what you think. I love it so far. Going to Read more when I get home from picking the oldest up from school.
Oh I love it so far too! I'm at page 50 now. I can't read more til after work tho.
I just finished the book, Andrea. I liked the book a lot. I just didn't felt a lot of deja vu moments happening and a lot of predictably. I compared it to the Hunger Games and The Culling in my book blog. I still really liked the book though. I think that was my only complaint. Lol.
Might I just add, and I just noticed this, that I finished this book literally minutes before it became the 22nd. XD Meaning, I completed my Read-A-Thon goal! <3

Oh no that sucks!!! Maybe if you sign up with a different email address you can do another trial? Idk. Do libraries over there let you borrow digital books?
Aw , Tessa! Check the libraries there no??
