I read two articles today in the New York Times and they reminded me of our search for equality. I wanted to share them and talk about them with this group.

The first one describes how China is looking for more male teachers and is feels the lack of men in the education system has led to "effeminate boys". Author is Javier C. Hernandez


The second one is titled fighting "erasure" which refers to the collective practice of indifference that renders certain people and groups invisible. This one seems king of appropriate with our current book as well nowadays.
