Is is good or bad?

Honestly, it was not really good. Gideon was a jerk until the last book. Gwen was a crybaby and doesn't know how to be independent. Lesley's part was just looking things up on google. I didn't really feel like there was a plot and the resolution wasn't solved. I mean the book doesn't even tell us what the secret is at the end or whether it would help the world or destroy. I mean that is why I read Emerald Green just to figure out what the secret was, but that was thrown right out the window when it wasn't figured out. So it was horrible.

This is literally my favorite book in the world. If you're looking for something deep and meaningful it's probably not for you, but if you're just looking for a cute story and a lot of laughs it's really awesome. Gwen is honestly the most realistic character in YA fiction (she gets a bad rep because she's not a stone-cold ball of righteous fury but seriously people she's a teenaged girl), the characters are sassy and hilarious, and the plot was very intriuging.

It's not the best book in the world but if you want to read something light hearted, cheesy and fun than its a great read. Its basically your stereotypical ya novel, there isn't anything unique or original about the characters or plot, or the love story!! But honestly it's not a bad read. It's just fun and over the top. It completely depends what type of book you're looking to read.

Nice contrast to a predictable start and less predictable end. It is a pretty good book. Just don't yell at the demons

I won't say it's bad. This book is just nice. And yeah...quite confuse with Gideon. Whether he is on Gwen's side or not. I just read the 1st trilogy and planning to read 2nd & 3rd trilogy.

I personally really enjoyed this book, I get what some people are saying about being confused with Gideon, but honestly, I thought it added extra suspense. This book was an absolute win for me.
