SPRING BINGO 2016
Mission: Claim at least one "Bingo!" before June 20 (the first day of summer)!
This is an all new bingo for 2016! The Mods have put our heads together to create some new bingo categories and boards that will change with the seasons. (Fans of Karen's Original Bingo, don't worry... We'll be keeping that one for summer.)
RULES & GUIDELINES
Not too many of these as it is supposed to be fun after all :)
* As with traditional Bingo, you can go for a horizontal, vertical, diagonal, "X" or "around the world" (perimeter). Or aim big and go for a black out (all squares)!
* A book can only be used once on the sheet.
* Interpret the categories as broadly as you like.
* Feel free to copy and paste the template below to record your books:

I would say that "Pretty Dress" relates to a dress on the cover. With or without a person in it. If anyone has a different interpretation, let me know.

Amanda-
I'd count it since you finished when you did. I've had books linger around for months before I get around to finishing them. I usually go the the end date as a rule of thumb.

Concentrating on getting at least one bingo.
Minority Studies could vary depending on where you are in the world. For me, as an American, I'd probably take a look at...
African American Authors
Hispanic or Asian American Authors
LGBTQ+ Relevant
Women's Studies
(There are probably a host of possibilities on the Boxall list from about 1950 to current day, if you're looking for ideas.)

I cannot believe I'm sharing this ... but would you believe I thought the 'free' one was meant literally, as in costing nothing... (hiding face in shame). Silly me!
Ha! Actually, I think that's probably what it means in regular bingo. But we've used it as a "free choice" since we started doing Bingo challenges in this group. (I blame Karen. Kidding!)
