Hi! My name is Brianna and welcome to Quiet or Loud? A Book Reader's Thoughts. I hope that you all will enjoy this group and meet some other fantastic book readers. The intention of this discussion is for us to get to know each other a little. You can start with your name, age, favorite book/author/genre, or anything that you find interesting about yourself that you would like to share with others.

I'll start things off...

As I've said before my name is Brianna. I'm 24 years old; I just turned 24 on March 3rd. My favorite book is the first book I ever read when I was about 6 years old, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. My favorite author is James Patterson, which probably explains why my favorite genre is mystery and thriller. I love to read and I read in my spare time when I'm not working or in class.

Hi Celeste. Glad you joined. I'm a double major and my majors are Accounting and Criminal Justice. I think I either want to go into non-profit accounting or go to law school. I actually spend a lot of my time gaming too, instead of reading. That PS4 can be addicting when new games come out. Recently I have started reading more.

Yes it is wonderful!! I'm not too interested in Public Accounting either. I'm on my 2nd non-profit accounting class. There's three total at the university I go to. My cousin works in the industry and she loves it. I think Fraud Examination is great, but I would probably be super angry knowing that people and businesses are scheming.

I have a family friend who was a judge, but is now a lawyer. He always interests me with the cases he has. Well at least the ones that he can actually discuss with me.

Welcome to the group Dee, we're glad to have you! I live in a pretty small city myself compared to some of the surrounding cities. I tend to read a variety of genres myself, except I don't read too much erotica. I just can't really get too much into that one.

Yes there are a great many fantasy books and most are very interesting and entertaining

Hey I'm Madison or Maddy and I live in a tiny town in northwest Georgia, and yes I have a southern accent lol. I have 2 dogs, Roxy and Leah. I live with my parents still because I have an apartment downstairs in the house. I am 25. I honestly couldn't pick just one favorite book. That's just too hard for me.

I really have a broad range of favorites. I would say my favorite author is Jennifer L Armentrout

I have never read a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout, but I do own a few. I just haven't got around to reading them.

I actually met her this year at Apollycon in February. She, Pepe toth, and drew leighty stayed over 3 hours over to make sure everyone's books were signed. Pepe is the cover model for her lux series and drew is the cover model for her Titan series.

It really was there were probably about 30 other authors there including Sarah J. Maas, Alexandra bracken, jay crownover, Abbi glines, Wendy Higgins and a ton of others

Welcome to the group Sam. I love the hunger games series myself. It was the first series I ever finished. The only other series I've finished besides that is The Selection Series by Kiera Cass

Hello, my name is Laura and I'm from Germany. I'm 18 years old and I love reading like nothing else. My father bought the 1st Harry Potter book when I was born (it was released in the same year) and he read them to me until the end. So of course I love Harry Potter but I have read so many fantastic books that it's hard to pick just ONE!
My favourite author is Neil Gaiman. His books are just amazing. I also like Terry Pratchett and Patrick Rothfuss a lot.
Most of the time I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi or fiction but I'm not a choosy one so I read almost everything.

Welcome to the group Laura; we're glad to have you. I have only read the first book in the Harry Potter series, even though I own all of them. The only Neil Gaiman book I have read is Anansi Boys and the only Terry Pratchett book I've read is the first book in the discworld series. I have never read a book by Patrick Rothfuss.

I haven't read Long Earth yet but my boyfriend did and he loved it, so that's another book on my list. It's very nice to meet you all!
