Do you enjoy a series of books, having months at a time with characters you watch grow? Or do you prefer stand alone novels that you can read and then jump into the next world?

Personally, I enjoy series. I can spend forever in some books worlds. There are many stand alones I wish were series!

Clare (-clare-) | 98 comments I prefer stand alones. I've started many series in the past and then abandoned them because book 1 or whichever book I'm up too just wasn't very enjoyable. I hate having to choose between completing the series or never knowing how it ends.

Yes, I agree Clare! And I usually wind up finishing the series even though it is torture.

Tracey | 916 comments Standalone, because I feel guilty if I don't finish a series once I start.

Series! I love series! I'm in the middle of way too many of them, but I love revisiting the same worlds and characters.
