Monopoly Rules

� You do not need to wait for the other player to finish reading before you take your next turn. As soon as you're done reading, go ahead and roll.
� Each property is represented by a shelf. For each grouping of shelves/properties you would read a certain amount of books from that shelf. Once you finish the amount of books you would then “Own� that shelf.
� If you land on an “owned� shelf you would have to read a certain amount of books above what the owner had to read.
� If one person “owns� all of the books in a group (think Mediterranean and Baltic) and another player lands on their properties they would be able to recommend at least one of the books that the player has to read.
� Utilities � For the Electric Company � Read a book where the characters have electric chemistry. For Water Works � Read a book that makes you cry. Books have to be 150 pages or more.
� If a player lands on an “Owned� utility, then the owner will recommend a book with electric chemistry or that makes them cry.
� Railroads � For Reading Railroad � Read whatever you want. For Pennsylvania Railroad � Read a book set in Pennsylvania. For B&O Railroad � Read a book that someone else thought stunk. For Short Line � Read a novella. Page minimum 150 for all but Short Line. 25 page minimum for the novella.
� If a player lands on an “owned� railroad, the owner will recommend a book for that specific railroad.
� Chance and Community Chest � there are 12 cards for each. If a player lands on one of those spots they will roll the dice a second time and then would “pull� the corresponding card and do whatever it says on the card. Once a card is used, it will be out of play unless needed to finish the game. Books for this would need to be at least 150 pages.
� Being in Jail � To get out of jail you would need to have one of the get out of jail free cards, roll doubles on one of your next three turns or read a book where a character is arrested or has been in jail. Books for this would need to be 150 pages or more.
� Just Visiting � Read a novella of your choice, 50 page minimum
� Free Parking � Read any book 100 pages or more
� Go � Read any book of 200 pages or more
� Luxury Tax/Income Tax � Read a book with a rich character, a really poor character or someone that works in a bank. 150 pages or more
� Each roll, you'll post your starting spot, the roll and your new spot on the board.
� When you finish your book you'll post the spot your on, book name, rating, when it was finished and a short review of the book. If you were supposed to read a book that had a specific element (water works utility, book that made you cry), then please mention that in the review.
� Re-reads are allowed.

Review: This is the third book in the A Series of Unfortunate Events and I loved this book, just liked I loved the first two. A Mr. Poe (who works at a bank) takes care of the children who lost their parents in an fire. So far, they have had two guardians to take care of them but in the end it's always a Count Olaf who tries to get their fortune. I will continue to read these series.

Review: I loved this book. I was hooked from the first page. I really like the story line about three teenagers that weren't from this planet but were from a different planet.

Review: Okay, so I have multiple opinions about this book. Yes, I liked it, but did I like the characters? Don't read spoiler if you haven't read this book.

America: No, she can go die. Way too selfish and pathetic and petty and just so self-centered and bleh.
Aspen: Still feel like he's not serious about America.
Celeste: Typical, but glad she didn't annoy me as much in this book
Kriss: I really like her
King Clarkson: Can't believe he beats Maxon! That's disgusting! Don't want to think what Queen Amberly's going through!
Marlee: I'm kind of glad she was able to finally be open about her relationship. Kind of similar with Aspen and America in a way. I can't believe that straight after they got caught, Aspen wanted to meet America. How foolish! (hide spoiler)]
Don't really have enough time/space/energy/emotion to rage about America right now, but just know that I really do not like her. Yes, I like her backbone and her pride, but I don't like her underlying distrust. So frustrating. I'm glad I finally got around to this book, and it was a quick read. Can't wait to read the rest of the series, although no doubt America will annoy me some more. I'll just have to bear it.

Review: Woah. This was just as good as the previous two :D Can't believe it's over though! I was so excited to read this one, and it didn't disappoint. I'm glad for the (view spoiler)[lack of romance, (hide spoiler)] and the shocks and twists that happened, particularly (view spoiler)[Edwyne not actually being her grandfather (hide spoiler)] and (view spoiler)[Gavril dying for Tyrus. (hide spoiler)] Oh and also (view spoiler)[then finding the kids the way they did! (hide spoiler)] Sad the series is over now :( Hopefully she writes more, because I'll definitely be keeping up to date with Kelley Armstrong's books :D

How it fits: Sad because main character's pain and upset.

Review: This was definitely interesting :) So glad I read it! I was really surprised when (view spoiler)[Amberly and Clarkson came across his parents fighting, (hide spoiler)] and (view spoiler)[the fact she couldn't have children. (hide spoiler)] But I loved how (view spoiler)[he was testing them from the start, and he'd always had his eye on Amberly, right from when she cut her hair for him :) (hide spoiler)] One thing I didn't like was (view spoiler)[the way I compared the whole time to America and Maxon, and how both of their first meetings were them being vulnerable (hide spoiler)] and how (view spoiler)[Queen Abby's always drunk, and mistreating the girls! (hide spoiler)] But I liked the way (view spoiler)[he said all of that stuff, and their first kiss was exceptional :) (hide spoiler)] And while it's sad, it's also good to see that all stuff isn't what it seems at the start, what with (view spoiler)[during America's Selection, we see Clarkson and Amberly not too loving. (hide spoiler)] I like the way Amberly knew she wanted the crown, as well as Clarkson, while that's what America thinks she doesn't want. One thing I didn't like too much was the fact that (view spoiler)[Amberly was obsessed with Clarkson growing up. That's slightly strange, but good for her, it all working out. (hide spoiler)] Well, that was a lot longer than I expected :p So much to think about in this one!

Review book 1: I liked this book. I was a little lost as I wasn't sure what was going on since I didn't read the first book yet, but other then that, I liked it.

How could you read the second before the first?? Nancy! :p

And you need another V author? That sucks!
