This is the progress thread for the World Lit Challenge. We have a group read each month, but you can also count other books that fit. Books must be either written by an author from a country in the region, or set in a country in the region.

Use this thread to keep track of your World Lit Challenge, report back to the group on your progress, and also to give each other ideas of what to read.

I just finished River God for North Africa. It was really good - I highly recommend it!

Looking ahead to next month, these are the books I'm considering for South Asia/India Subcontinent.
