Kazen Brianna, we've taken your awesome idea and modified it a bit. :) My photoshop skills are waaaay below Margaret's so bear with me here:

The guess going towards the "middle" of the board was taken away from each hit and the hit in the lower right gained two guesses. The last guess will be an open water hit in the bottom left or upper right. This, along with some behind the scenes changes in how guesses are carried out, should work to our advantage - thanks for the idea, Brianna! :D

I'm going to start doing our guesses now, bwahahaha.

Kazen Guys, we totally rocked the second round! We sunk four ships, including the battleship! Woah! Here's what it was like when I was filling things in:

"Hit and sink, woo hoo! Hit! ...hit!! miss... hit, hit, hit! miss... miss............ hit, sink! hit, sink!! hit, sink!!!... (miss, miss)"

So many points and places to put books, huzzah! I'm going to rearrange the goal post to make it easier to understand, back in a few.

Oooo, lots of options, I love it! I think I'll avoid putting you down for any one thing at the moment so we can see where it fits best when you finish, especially as it's not your first book. :)

And 500 pages means we'll get a bunch of page points, yea!

We're on top of it, no worries! On the first page of this thread you can find links to the Red Panda spreadsheet as well as the Wobble-wide spreadsheet. Here's a question (just curious) since I10 and G5 are both fantasy, can one person read a book for each of the 2 hits? (i.e 2 books, 2 hits, 1 genre.)

Yup! A good way to think about it is that you can read one book for each square. This is one reason why I'm listing names under the spoiler, so we can see who has read for each particular task/square. :)

Thanks! I just finished a PN/fantasy book and I don't think I'l read the second part just yet(I need a change in genres) but normally when I start a Fantasy series, I tend to binge-read them all, but with this task I wouldn't be able to read from the same genre(with out the 2 hits), hence the question :) :D thanks for the super fast reply !

message 450: by Kazen (new)

Kazen Ella wrote: "...normally when I start a Fantasy series, I tend to binge-read them all..."

Bwahaha, love the impulsive binge-read. :)

You have a lot of tasks if you want to go through the series - it sounds like these books would work for paranormal and fantasy, so that's three squares right there. If they're also shelved YA that adds three squares, romance adds two, science fiction also adds two... options, you have them! ;)
