King Arthur and His Knights: Selected Tales for the sword.
The Figure in the Shadows for the amulet

The Letter, the Witch, and the Ring though that ring has powers, not sure if you want to stretch to it being a weapon.
Billibub Baddings and the Case of the Singing Sword Although in this one, he's a dwarf (yes, THAT KIND of dwarf) who winds up in 1930's Chicago as a result of an attempt to destroy some magic weapons, and has to now find all of the weapons.
The Ring of Allaire has a magic ring--but not sure it's exactly what you are looking for. It's the first book in a series.

The sword, Wirikidor, is extremely powerful. It also has some very serious limitations and drawbacks. The story is about a normal man who wants to live a normal life but is bound to one of the most powerful magical artifacts ever created. It's the first in the author's Ethshar series, and one of the best, and well worth reading.
The Doomfarers of Coramonde by Brian Daley is a high fantasy novel involving exiled princes, evil stepmother queens, evil sorcerers, good sorcerers, people from our world drawn into the fantasy world, including a Vietnam War armored personnel carrier and crew, which has to fight a dragon, and later invades Hell, and that's not even the coolest part, the coolest part is a character named Reacher who for some reason I've always pictured as Pete Townsend, though I really couldn't tell you why.
Fantastic book, and it does also have magic swords. They're very important but not a huge part of the plot, but don't let that stop you from reading the book and its sequel.
There's also Fred Saberhagen Books of Swords series, which I have heard good things about but haven't read myself:

The Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series by Tad Williams has three magic swords. The Dragonbone Chair is the first in the series.

If you don't mind MG/YA there is Steel Magic which follows 3 kids around as they attempt to save Avalon using magic weapons. (They enter from our world through a ruined castle/gazabo.)

Yeah, I don't run across many of us either!

Yeah, I don't run across many of us either!"
Really? This was the the fantasy book that everyone and his dog read when I was a teenager; along with Magician and The Lord of the Rings.
