Yep, still currently being driven crazy by the site!! Glad i'm not the only one.... i was starting to get worried!!

Are you trying to upload an already-formatted ePub, or are you using some kind of online converter that Nook offers?
I didn't have any problems uploading ePubs I created through Calibre. However, Nook author support is atrocious, which may be why the device is withering on the vine. (To be fair, Books-A-Million's author/publisher support is nonexistent, so B&N isn't alone in the penalty box.)
I've also had no luck finding ways to reach out specifically to Nook and Kobo readers; the entire e-book advertising universe seems to revolve around Kindle. Other GR authors have had luck with Kobo, though, so my experience may not be typical.

2. I use Draft2Digital to upload to B&N and the customer service is great and my sales are good. By that I mean about 1/4 of my Amazon sales some months. Well worth being available on that platform.

i have decided to do it all through Smashwords which was terrifyingly easy..... i'm still convinced that something must go wrong but so far so good!!
Obviously there are a lot of people who have self-published here and have had to transform themselves from self-proclaimed literary geniuses into DIY publishing maniacs... to me, (one of the aforementioned) i thought that KDP select was a pain in the arse to handle... but Nook, being my next folly, is turning out to be about as much fun as fire-ant filled underwear.
I think I would almost prefer to vote Trump and Brexit than deal with this (at least i would be assured that my attempts at publishing would evaporate in a nuclear cloud with everything else)
So far it does not recognize chapters, which is cool as i have 84 of those, so have to do it individually. Right now i'm waiting for it to split a chapter which i asked it to do about ten minutes ago.... groovy, it has crashed!
Anyone else having trouble? Does anyone actually sell anything on Nook? Or is it another site where you have to spend your whole life attempting to build a platform of followers like some down and out prophet?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
Have a day.
